Hazelnut processing steps
The picked hazelnuts with buds are piled and fermented for 1-2 days, afterwards, shelling with a stick, removing impurities, and then it will become commercial hazelnuts after finishing drying process. The harvested hazelnuts are stacked and fermented for 1-2 days. After stacking and fermenting, tap with a wooden stick to remove the buds. The fruit bud fragments and other impurities are removed out to meet the requirement of drying commercial hazelnuts.
Hazelnut drying process
The drying temperature of hazelnuts is generally should not exceed 45 ℃. The moisture content of hazelnuts is different, and the drying time is also different, generally 8-30 hours.
