Lemon processing steps
1.Select high-quality lemon fruitand carefully clean the lemon fruit. You can adopts salt water cleaning method, soda water cleaning method or ultrasonic cleaning method, etc. The main purpose is to clean and remove pesticide residues or wax.
2.Cut the fruit into about 4 mm slices by hand or slicer, and pay attention to the uniform thickness. In addition, the lemon seeds should also be removed, so as not to affect the drying effect and the taste of the lemon slices. Place the lemon slices neatly on a ventilated trayanddo not stack them, and then use the natural wind and light to remove the water from the lemon slices.
Lemon drying process
If the lemon slices have been air-dried for one day, transfer them to the air drying room, and set the temperature of the dryer to three temperature ranges: 45°C, 50°C, and 53°C. The moisture of the lemon slices is slowly evaporated and discharged during the low-temperature drying process. The whole drying process takes about 22 hours.
