Scorpion processing steps
First of all, let the scorpion keep crawling in the container for three to five days. The purpose of this is to let the scorpion naturally consume the debris in the body, and then put the scorpion into the water with a small amount of salt and let it drink and spit the water continuously. There are two reasons for this step. The first reason is to let the scorpion spit out the impurities in its stomach. The second is to sterilize the inside of the scorpion’s stomach. When the scorpion can’t crawl, use clean water to wash the scorpion twice or more. The boiled scorpions should be dried and drained.
After finishing the drying process, put the scorpions into the drying room for sterilization and baking it at 50°C-70°C. The temperature should not be too high, otherwise the scorpions will be destroyed, and their health care efficacy and nutrients will be greatly reduced. Each kilogram of scorpions can be processed into 0.55 kg dried worms.
