Processing and drying steps
(1)Sorting debris
Firstly, pick out the sundries in the honeysuckle. There must be no sundries, otherwise the quality of the honeysuckle will be affected after drying, and if there are sundries inside, it will be difficult to sort them out after drying.
(2)Drying room production
Choose a baking room made of foam sandwich panels, formulate the drying oven according to the efficiency of the dryer. You can also do some investigation about the actual location. For example, if you use a 12p model dryer, the size of the drying room is better set 6300x3600x2200mm.
(3)Drying temperature and time
The drying temperature is a process from low to high. Generally, it is gradually dried at 25-35 °C. After drain out the moisture in the honeysuckle, the temperature is adjusted to between 40-50 °C. The drying time is about 3 hours, meanwhile, you need to use 8 to 10 hours for maintaining the temperature, and the temperature should be controlled below 60 °C.
(4) Standard drying
When all the water in the honeysuckle is completely evaporated, before opening the baking room, pay attention to whether the drying time meets the standard. The standard for finishing the drying process is that the honeysuckle will be broken when gently squeezed it by hand, and there will be a sound when crushing.
