1 preheating stage
The purpose of preheating is to heat up the aspen board sufficiently before drying and to remove any existed drying stress which generated during the air drying process. Start the heat pump to supply heat to the drying room. The temperature is between 40°C and 50°C. The temperature cannot rise too fast. The effect of simulating humidification can be achieved without dehumidification for the first 1-2 days. The time for simulating humidification in the drying room depends on the variety and thickness of the aspen board, generally it takes 20-30 hours. The rotation of the circulating fan in the drying room is changed every 4 hours.
2 Intermediate processing stages
The intermediate treatment is the humidity control treatment carried out during the drying process. Its purpose is to eliminate the surface tensile stress generated in the early stage so as to prevent bursting, or to eliminate the surface hardening caused by the drying in the middle and later stages, so as to prevent internal cracking in the later stage.
The dehumidification process is carried out manually according to the running direction of the fan in the drying room. When the temperature is above 55°C, the humidity can be removed. According to the direction of the fan, the corresponding humidity outlet cover should be opened or closed manually. The temperature will gradually rise after dehumidification, but cannot exceed 75℃. The intermediate treatment is the humidity control treatment during the drying process. For the aspen boards that are easily deformed or cracked, the time for moisture removal should not too long each time during the drying process. This operation usually takes about 6-7 days.
3 Normal drying stage
After 9 days, the temperature is 65℃-75℃, over-temperature is strictly prohibited, and the circulating fan is reversed every 4 hours. This stage will take about 4-6 days to dry.
